Fact-checking comes last, so it gets cut
Checking a 40-page draft against hundreds of pages of sources takes days nobody has before the deadline.
Veyras reads your draft report alongside the interviews, filings and spreadsheets behind it, and shows which statements are supported, which conflict, and which have no source at all.
Checking a 40-page draft against hundreds of pages of sources takes days nobody has before the deadline.
A figure is corrected in the appendix, but the old one survives in the executive summary.
Reviewers can't see where a claim came from without asking the author.
Veyras pulls the checkable statements out of a draft, looks for each one in the sources you give it, and shows what it found: the matching passage, a conflicting one, or nothing at all. You stay the reviewer.
Illustrative example. Veyras is in development.
Everything below is being built now. Nothing is shipped yet.
Splits a draft into checkable statements: figures, dates, quotes, attributions and comparisons.
Finds the passage in your sources that supports each claim, with page, paragraph or cell reference.
In developmentFlags claims that contradict a source, or the same metric stated with different values in one document.
In developmentAccept, dismiss or annotate each flag. Nothing in your document changes without your decision.
In developmentExport a source table for each checked claim to attach to the final deliverable.
PlannedShared projects for small teams, with per-project file isolation and deletion on demand.
PlannedScope and wording may change while we build.
Drafts and sources go in side by side. These are the planned formats.
Drafts
Sources
Figures, dates, quotes, attributions and comparisons become a list you can scan.
Supported, conflicts, or no source found, with the passage shown next to the claim.
Accept, dismiss or annotate each flag, then export your notes and an evidence appendix.
Before a client readout
The deck was built over weeks from a market model, interviews and analyst notes. One last pass before it reaches the client.
Slide 4 says $2.1B; the model tab says $1.8B.
Memo against the data room
The memo summarises hundreds of files, and the investment committee will mostly read the memo.
Memo says churn fell to 3%; the cohort export shows 3.4% for the same period.
A brief citing dozens of studies
Every citation has to point at the right edition, table and figure, and reviewers want to see how each was checked.
Figure attributed to a 2022 survey; the cited source is the 2021 edition.
Veyras uses Claude, a model made by Anthropic, through Anthropic's API, to read drafts and sources, extract claims, propose matching passages and explain flags.
It does not rewrite your report or decide what is true. It can be wrong, which is why every flag shows the passage it relied on.
This is the plan. The final policy will be published before the beta.
Extraction, matching, conflict flags and the review queue, tested on sample reports.
A small group of early-access teams on real documents. Evidence appendix. Pricing decided.
Open sign-up, team workspaces, published pricing and data policy.
Veyras is built by one person, working independently. It started from a simple frustration: a careful report can lose a reader's trust over a single number nobody re-checked.
The aim is a second reader that never gets tired, never skips the appendix and always shows where it looked.

There is no date yet. The MVP is being built now, a private beta comes next, and a date will be announced when it is ready.
Pricing will be announced before launch. Nobody will be charged without agreeing to a price first.
Small consulting, research and analyst teams (2–20 people) and solo analysts who write evidence-heavy client reports: strategy and market research, due diligence, policy research.
Documents are processed only to run your checks and are sent to Anthropic's API for that purpose. You will be able to delete a project and its files at any time. The details are under Built with Claude, and the final policy will be published before the beta. For this website itself, see the privacy page.
No. It reads your draft and sources and shows what it found. Nothing in your document changes without your decision.
Treat them as a second reader, not a verdict. A flag can be wrong, which is why each one shows the passage it relied on. You decide whether to accept or dismiss it.
Planned: DOCX, PDF and Markdown drafts, with PDF, DOCX, CSV and XLSX sources. Scanned PDFs may come later.
